so the day i got my new mbp, I pulled it out of the packaging and turned it on to find green vertical lines across the whole screen. i was horrified and instantly called apple. they tried various methods of reseting the computer, but to no avail. while talking to a higher up support technician, the screen fixed it self. the technician still wanted me to send the laptop in, but i didn't want to let go of my new toy. 
weeks went by with no problem and of course, the night before my dj gig, it's back. i did nothing unusual to prompt the problem, but the green lines were back and didn't go away like last time. so i guess it gets to return home to it's mommy for christmas and i'll be adopting a new mail order girlfriend in a few weeks.  |
